Inspection and Cleaning
Wang 720A as found
The Wang 720 was pretty dirty internally but otherwise in good general condition, appearing complete and undamaged.
Like the 700, it has a wired backplane, complex but pretty to look at. Connections use a compression clip rather than wire-wrap.
The machine was disassembled so that the keyboard, external parts and display could be cleaned. No new suprises were encountered and cleaning was straightforward.
