Initial Assessment

The machine appeared to be complete and in generally good condition but had been crushed some time in the past, the plastic case being rather badly cracked and broken. There did not appear to be any internal damage, in particular to the display or the PCBs under the area that seemed to have taken the strain.

There was no corrosion or sign of liquid damage but the aluminium base frame had a noticable yellow discoloration which could be scrubbed away. The machine had been used in an industrial training application and perhaps that environment was heavily contaminated with cigarette smoke.
